Soyoola made this known while speaking with journalists in Abeokuta on Tuesday, where he outlined his vision for the senatorial district.
According to him, the decision to join the race for the Ogun Central senatorial seat was informed by years of professional experience, exposure, and a commitment to contribute meaningfully to national development through effective legislation.
“I believe the time has come for me to step forward and serve the people of Ogun Central at a higher level. My aspiration is built on a genuine passion to improve the lives of our people and ensure that their voices are adequately represented at the National Assembly,” Soyoola said.
The senatorial hopeful noted that Ogun Central, which comprises several local government areas in the state, has enormous human and economic potential that can be better harnessed through quality representation and strategic policymaking.
He stressed that his focus would be on policies that promote economic empowerment, youth development, improved education, and sustainable infrastructure across communities in the district.
“Our people deserve responsive and proactive representation. If given the opportunity, I will work tirelessly to attract developmental projects, empower our youths, support small businesses, and advocate policies that will uplift our communities,” he added.
Soyoola further stated that his background and professional journey have equipped him with the knowledge and network required to effectively represent Ogun Central and contribute meaningfully to legislative debates at the national level.
He also emphasized the need for inclusive governance, noting that leadership must be rooted in listening to the concerns of the people and translating those concerns into impactful legislative actions.
“I want to be a senator who listens, who engages, and who delivers. Representation must go beyond occupying a seat, it must translate into visible progress and opportunities for the people,” he said.
Soyoola therefore called on party members, stakeholders, and residents of Ogun Central to support his aspiration, promising to run an issue-based campaign focused on development, unity, and progress for the senatorial district.
