Ogun Entrepreneur Adefarati Blends Fashion, Construction, Auto Business into Lifestyle Brand

An Abeokuta-based entrepreneur, Aladetan Iseoluwa Adefarati, has expanded his business vision beyond fashion by combining clothing, construction technology and automobile trading under a single lifestyle brand known as Ade’s Couture(AC).

Adefarati, the Chief Executive Officer of Ade’s Couture, said the initiative was designed to reflect innovation and versatility, explaining that the brand popularly known as Ade’s Couture – Home of Luxury represents more than clothing but a broader concept that merges style with other sectors of business.

Speaking in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital, the entrepreneur explained that the brand has grown into a multi-sector venture with interests spanning fashion, construction technology and automobile sales.
According to him, the construction arm of the business operates under AC Tech (Ade’s Couture Construction Technology), a platform focused on structural engineering and development projects.

He noted that his academic background in civil engineering strongly influenced this aspect of the enterprise.

Adefarati studied Civil Engineering at Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, where he graduated in 2022. He recalled that his interest in construction started long before his tertiary education, tracing it back to his secondary school days when he regularly accompanied his brother to building sites, an experience he said later gave him practical exposure during his engineering studies.

Despite his early interest in construction, Adefarati said fashion became the turning point that shaped his entrepreneurial journey after leaving school.
He explained that his understanding of style, branding and presentation inspired him to transform his knowledge of fashion into a profitable business.

Beyond fashion and construction, the businessman has also ventured into automobile sales, describing his passion for cars as another reason for the brand’s diversification.

He said the idea was to create a lifestyle ecosystem where luxury fashion, automobiles and structural development coexist within one brand identity.

Outside business, Adefarati—also known in entertainment circles as MC Stopshebe—said he has been active in comedy since 2012, performing in cities including Benin City, which he noted helped him build public recognition over the years.

He also weighed in on the increasing migration of young Nigerians abroad, urging youths to look inward and explore opportunities within the country rather than following trends without clear direction. According to him, many young people venture into fashion without adequate knowledge of the industry.

Adefarati, however, acknowledged that economic realities remain a major challenge for entrepreneurs, particularly the high cost of running generators due to irregular electricity supply.

He said the situation significantly increases production costs for businesses operating in fashion, construction and automobile trading.

Despite the challenges, he maintained that Nigeria still offers room for creativity and expansion, stressing that with the right focus and understanding of one’s craft, young entrepreneurs can build sustainable businesses within the country.
