In a statement released on Friday on behalf of the Arewa Community APC Osun State, Mohammad congratulated Muslims on the successful completion of the holy month of Ramadan, describing the period as one of sacrifice, devotion, and spiritual renewal.
He urged the faithful to sustain the virtues of patience, charity, and unity imbibed during Ramadan, stressing that such values are essential for peaceful coexistence and national development.
“Eid Mubarak to all our Muslim brothers and sisters. This season reminds us of the importance of love, tolerance, and unwavering faith in Almighty Allah,” he said. “We must continue to uphold these virtues as we celebrate and beyond.”
Mohammad also used the occasion to call on members of the All Progressives Congress in the state to remain united and focused ahead of future political engagements.
According to him, unity within the party remains a critical factor in ensuring electoral success and effective governance, particularly as the state prepares for another electoral cycle.
The APC chieftain further declared the support of the Arewa Community in Osun State for the gubernatorial ambition of Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji, popularly known as AMBO, describing him as a capable and visionary leader.
“We are fully committed to the candidacy of Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji. He has demonstrated competence, loyalty, and a clear understanding of governance,” Mohammad stated.
He added that the Arewa Community APC in the state believes Oyebamiji possesses the leadership qualities required to drive development and inclusiveness across all sectors of Osun.
Mohammad urged party members, supporters, and residents of the state to rally behind Oyebamiji’s ambition, expressing confidence that his emergence as governor would usher in a new era of progress and unity in Osun State.
