The Executive Chairman of Obafemi Owode Local Government, Amb. Adesina ‘Lanre Ogunsola, FCPA, has congratulated Chief Olalekan Alex Shoyinka, popularly known as Ayinla Egba, on his appointment as the Chairman of the Freelance and Independent Broadcasters’ Association of Nigeria (FIBAN), Ogun State Chapter.
In his congratulatory message , Amb. Ogunsola described the appointment as well-deserved, noting that Chief Shoyinka’s professionalism, efficiency, and unwavering dedication to broadcasting have distinguished him as a worthy leader within the media space.
The Council Chairman expressed confidence that the new FIBAN chairman would use his wealth of experience to further strengthen the association and uphold high ethical and professional standards capable of withstanding both national and international challenges in the media industry.
Amb. Ogunsola emphasized that Chief Shoyinka’s extensive experience in broadcasting is a clear testament to his recent elevation, adding that his leadership would bring renewed credibility and balance to media practice in Ogun State.
While congratulating him, the Executive Chairman encouraged the new FIBAN helmsman to continue to promote balanced and responsible reporting in his future endeavours, in line with global best practices and the principles of professional journalism.
