In support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, the Pioneer Progressive Friends Club (TPPFC), a foremost association of Nigerians resident in China and Hong Kong, past and present, has pledged to collaborate with relevant authorities and partners in the areas of investment, job creation, and poverty alleviation.
The group made this known during the club’s annual two-day convention held in Aba, Abia State, where members gathered to review activities and elect new officers.
At the convention, Chief Sebastine Azubuike-Ijomah was elected as the new Prime Minister of the club, succeeding his predecessor, Chief Ikedi Obi.
Other officers elected include Dr. Pst. Okey Moses (Deputy Prime Minister), Prince Bright Ehirim, Bro. Samuel Ukachukwu, Mr. Honour God Anyikwa, Chinemelum Mmaduabum, Mr. DanGold, Chief Chinonso Arthur Rich Ogenna, Elder Sam Nduka, Pst. Oby Chinedu, and Mr. Daniel Izuchukwu.
While speaking, Chief Azubuike-Ijomah expressed gratitude to the Grand Patron, Chief Jerry Obiegbu, the Electoral Committee led by Chief Olisa Ofianecheobodo, the past executive council, and members for a smooth transition, pledging to advance the club’s progress on all fronts.
He also announced the appointment of Chief Paul Dim (Oputa Obie) as Head of the Investment Intervention Committee, among other strategic decisions.
