Chief Oni-Quadri distributed food items and assorted gifts to the beneficiaries on Wednesday in Abeokuta, in a gesture aimed at spreading joy and strengthening relationships.
The beneficiaries cut across media houses, financial institutions, professional associations, non-governmental organisations, community-based organisations, as well as other corporate organisations and business partners operating within the state.
Speaking during the distribution, the philanthropist, who is also the Chief Executive Officer of the popular electronics outlet, Oni Electronics, said the initiative was designed to give back to these groups in appreciation of the strong, cordial and mutually beneficial relationship enjoyed throughout the year.
According to her, the Christmas season offers an opportunity to promote love, unity and compassion, while reinforcing bonds with stakeholders who have remained supportive in different capacities.
“This is our way of appreciating the cooperation, goodwill and support we have received from these organisations over the course of the year. Christmas is a season of sharing, and we believe in carrying everyone along,” she said.
Chief Oni-Quadri noted that philanthropy remains a personal conviction and a social responsibility, urging individuals and corporate bodies with the capacity to always support worthy causes, especially during festive periods.
