The humanitarian gesture took place on Tuesday at his palace in Ibogun Balogun, Ifo Local Government Area of Ogun State.

Oba Faluade, known for his consistent advocacy for the welfare of the less privileged, distributed essential food items to the beneficiaries, ensuring that they received tangible relief at a challenging time.
The items were carefully selected to ease the burden of daily needs on households headed by widows and on elderly residents.
Speaking at the event, the Olu of Ibogun Balogun expressed his gratitude to God and the entire community for the support he has enjoyed throughout his eight years on the throne.
He described the empowerment initiative as a crucial part of his mission to lead with empathy, inclusiveness, and a strong sense of communal responsibility.
He emphasized that the well-being of vulnerable groups remains his priority and assured residents that more development-oriented programs would continue to unfold under his reign.
