Ogun 2027: Ambassador Sarafa Isola Visits IPAC Secretariat, Delivers Leadership Masterclass

Former Nigerian High Commissioner to the United Kingdom and ex-Minister of Mines and Steel Development, Ambassador Sarafa Tunji Isola, paid a historic courtesy visit to the Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC), Ogun State Chapter, at its secretariat in Abeokuta, under the leadership of Comrade Sanyaolu Abayomi.

Commending the council’s achievements, particularly the successful establishment of its secretariat, Ambassador Isola praised Comrade Sanyaolu’s visionary and unifying leadership, describing it as a model for inclusive democratic engagement in the state.

Ambassador Isola also commended Governor Dapo Abiodun for his unwavering support for IPAC and his commitment to fostering an atmosphere of political inclusiveness and participatory governance in Ogun State.

He noted that such cooperation between government and political stakeholders remains vital for sustainable democratic growth.

In an engaging leadership masterclass, Ambassador Isola highlighted the three pillars of effective governance—character, capacity, and capability—urging leaders to embody these values in service to the people.

Drawing from his extensive local, state, national, and international experience, he reaffirmed his deep-rooted dedication to the continued progress and unity of Ogun State.

In his remarks,  the IPAC chairman,  Comrade Abayomi Sanyaolu explained that the projects were achieved through the support of the State government and political gladiators.

He also noted that the dream is to have a situation room at the IPAC, whereby elections will be monitored directly by all political parties in the state.

Sanyaolu called on him to have his signature at the secretariat as well.
The interactive session, attended by political party chairmen and key stakeholders, ignited renewed enthusiasm ahead of the 2027 general elections, with many participants describing the visit as a milestone in Ogun’s evolving political discourse.

Among those present were High Chief Joju Fadairo, Alhaji Jelili Akindele, Oluomo Sikirulah, Hon. Ayobami Makinde, Mr Tunde Ajayi, Dr Ademolake Akeem, and several others.
