IBD Foundation, Checkers Africa, Others to Sponsor 4th Edition of “Unscripted with Olusho Agba”

The 4th edition of Unscripted with Olusho Agba, a live evening of truth and unscripted realities, is set to hold on Saturday, November 30, 2025, at the prestigious Marque of the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library (OOPL), Abeokuta, Ogun State.

The highly anticipated event, hosted by Abiodun Oluwakayode, popularly known as Olusho-Agba, has continued to gain traction and recognition since its inception, attracting top entertainers, corporate sponsors, and influential personalities across Nigeria.

Speaking ahead of the 2025 edition in a press conference held on Tuesday at iwe-iroyin , Abeokuta, Olusho-Agba expressed excitement about the growth of the show, describing it as a dream gradually evolving into a global platform.

“It is turning into a global event. From the very beginning, we started with the mindset that Unscripted would go global. Over the years, we began from Richton Hotel, follow by Spices, Continental Suites, and now we are moving to the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library for the 4th edition. It has truly been a journey of consistency and growth,” he said.

He added that this year’s edition enjoys massive backing from several sponsors, including the IBD Foundation, Checkers African Limited, Oluwalogbon Electronics, and other corporate partners.

Olusho-Agba specially appreciated Alhaji Ibrahim Egungbohun, founder of IBD Foundation, for his continuous support, as well as Mrs. Nasiru Ibukunoluwa of Checkers African Limited for the company’s contribution through its range of products,Checkers Custard, Checkers 3-in-1, Checkers Choco Tee, and Checkers Vanilla.

“We have enjoyed huge support from our headline sponsors this year, particularly the IBD Foundation and Checkers African Limited. Their partnership has been instrumental to making this edition a success,” Olusho-Agba noted.
Unscripted with Olusho Agba has, over the years, featured prominent comedians and Nollywood celebrities, including Dr. Ayo Ajewole (Woli Agba), Dr. Smile, and Baba Lariya, among others.

Beyond entertainment, Olusho-Agba used the platform to call on the government to invest more in the younger generation by creating a safer and more enabling environment.

“We are pleading with the government to do more for the younger generation by ensuring safety and providing support. The more we get involved, the more they recognize our potential. Security should be a priority for the protection of our people,” he said.

Earlier in his remarks, the Secretary of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Ogun State Council, Comrade Bunmi Adigun, commended Olusho-Agba’s creativity and consistency, describing Unscripted as more than just a comedy show.
“I’ve been following this for a while, and each time he comes up with new and refreshing ideas. Unscripted with Olusho Agba is not just an ordinary show, it’s a platform everyone looks forward to every year. I wish the organizers, sponsors, and guests a safe and successful event,” he said.
