In a congratulatory message made available to journalists in Abeokuta on Wednesday , Alhaja Faidat described Mama Abiodun as a virtuous woman whose life of discipline, devotion, and selfless service continues to inspire many within and beyond the state.
She noted that attaining the age of 90 is a rare grace and a testament to divine favour, good health, and a life well spent in service to God, humanity, and family.
According to her, Mama Abiodun’s life story reflects the virtues of motherhood, sacrifice, and faith that have helped shape the destiny of her children, especially the governor.
The party chairman lauded the nonagenarian for raising Governor Dapo Abiodun, whom she described as a shining example of humility, hard work, and purposeful leadership in Ogun State and Nigeria at large.
She said Mama’s nurturing spirit and moral guidance are clearly evident in the Governor’s style of governance.
Alhaja Faidatvexpressed delight that Mama Abiodun has lived to witness her son’s impactful leadership and the numerous developmental strides that have transformed Ogun State under his administration.
She prayed that God continues to strengthen her and grant her more years in peace and sound health.
While rejoicing with the Abiodun family, Alhaja Faidat Akintunde congratulated the governor for the rare privilege of celebrating his mother’s 90th birthday, describing it as a joyful milestone that calls for gratitude and reflection on God’s faithfulness.
She also commended Governor Abiodun for his unwavering commitment to the progress of the state, maintaining that the love and wisdom instilled by Mama Victoria Abiodun have been instrumental in shaping his leadership values.
“As Mama clocks 90, we thank God for her journey of grace and for the good seeds she has sown in the lives of her children and the society at large. It is my prayer that the Almighty continues to bless and preserve her,” She said.
