Ogun Lawmaker, Tella Congratulates Elegbeji on Remo By-Election Victory

The Deputy Chief Whip and Lawmaker representing Abeokuta North State Constituency at the Ogun State House of Assembly, Hon. Dr. Babatunde Tella, has congratulated Princess Adesola Elegbeji of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on her victory in the just concluded bye-election for Ikenne, Sagamu, and Remo North Federal Constituency.

Tella, in his congratulatory message, described Elegbeji’s triumph at the polls as a well-deserved victory and a reflection of the people’s confidence in her leadership capacity and the APC’s continued dominance in Ogun State politics.

He commended the electorate for turning out to exercise their civic responsibility peacefully, stressing that democracy thrives when the will of the people prevails.

The Deputy Chief Whip urged Elegbeji to see her election as a call to service and to justify the trust reposed in her by delivering quality representation that will bring development to the entire constituency.

“On behalf of the good people of Abeokuta North State Constituency, I congratulate Princess Adesola Elegbeji on this historic victory.

“I am confident that she will bring her wealth of experience to bear in advancing the interests of the people of Remo and Ogun State at large,” Tella said.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) had on Sunday morning declared Elegbeji winner of the keenly contested bye-election, making her the new representative of the federal constituency in the House of Representatives.
