The Arewa Community in Ogun State and Southern Nigeria has joined millions of Nigerians across the country and beyond in celebrating the 69th birthday of His Eminence, Alhaji Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar III, CFR, mni, the revered Sultan of Sokoto and President-General of the Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (NSCIA).
Alhaji Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar III is a father, mentor, leader, and an embodiment of unity in Nigeria.
The Arewa Community in Ogun State and across Southern Nigeria “wholeheartedly wishes His Eminence a happy 69th birthday,” while praying for Allah’s continued mercy and strength upon his life and reign.
The Sultan Sa’ad Abubakar III has remained a beacon of peace, a promoter of national unity, and a defender of religious tolerance in Nigeria, even in challenging times. His leadership has continue to inspire millions across different faiths, regions, and backgrounds.
The Sultan, who ascended the throne of his forefathers in November 2006 as the 20th Sultan of Sokoto, has over the years become one of the most respected voices in Nigeria and the Muslim world. His interventions in matters of national importance have earned him recognition as not just a religious leader but also a statesman.
I acknowledged your consistent role in advocating for peaceful coexistence among Nigerians, stressing that his approach to leadership has helped to reduce ethnic and religious tensions across the country.
Your Eminence has continued to lead with wisdom, humility, and fear of Almighty Allah. Your fatherly disposition to all Nigerians, regardless of religion or tribe, stands you out as a true leader of our time,” Dr. Sani remarked in the message.
Alhaji Saad Abubakar’s contributions to education, healthcare, and social development, pointing out that his advocacy has led to meaningful government policies and support for communities in need.
The Arewa Community in Ogun State and Southern Nigeria praised the Sultan for his exemplary character and unwavering commitment to the welfare of the people, particularly the less privileged”.
The Sultan’s reign has continued to bring pride to the Sokoto Caliphate and to Nigeria as a whole, describing him as “a symbol of resilience, courage, and compassion.”
I pray that Almighty Allah, out of His infinite mercy, would continue to grant His Eminence sound health, wisdom, and long life in the service of Allah and humanity.
Your 69th birthday is not just a celebration of age, but a testimony of impact and relevance. I joined the entire nation in thanking Allah for preserving your life and using you as an instrument of peace and unity,” he said.
I also reaffirmed my loyalty and support for the leadership of the Sultan, pledging to continue upholding the values of peace, unity, and progress that he consistently champions.
The Sultan as a “leader who speaks truth to power with wisdom and diplomacy, and his leadership style remains a model for present and future generations.
I called on Nigerians to emulate the Sultan’s humility, tolerance, and dedication to the service of humanity, which they said are values urgently needed in today’s Nigeria.
Your Eminence, as you mark this milestone age, we pray that Allah will strengthen you in all ramifications and crown your efforts with more success. May your reign continue to be peaceful and prosperous.
