This was disclosed in a press release signed by the Corps Commander, Brig. Gen.(rtd) Alade Adedigba, issued to newsmen on Tuesday .
The training initiative, which is in line with Amotekun standard practice, is designed to equip the newly recruited personnel with the necessary skills and knowledge for operational efficiency and effective discharge of their duties.
Adedigba said shortlisted candidates who are expected to report for the training exercise scheduled to commence from Sunday, 6th to Friday, 18th July, 2025, at the NYSC Orientation Camp, Sagamu by 8:00am, are encouraged to adequately prepare for this essential training, arriving on time to facilitate a smooth induction process.
"Candidates are required to bring the following items: One bucket,One broom
One cutlass ,Two pairs of white round-neck T-shirts,Two pairs of white, shorts/knickers,Two pairs of white tennis sneakers, Two pairs of white socks, Two pairs of white bedsheets, Writing materials (jotters, pens, pencils, sharpener, erasers)
Two files containing passport,photographs and original & photocopies of credentials Bank Verification Number (BVN), National Identification Number (NIN)".
"The Corps authority urges all recruits to adhere to the instructions provided and fully cooperate with the camp officials throughout the training period to ensure its success".
The Corps Commander congratulated the successful candidates and appreciate their courage, cooperation and commitment to serving with the Amotekun Corps.
