According to him, only the families rooted in the words of God can survive these current economic challenges all over the world.
Abioro, who made the call while speaking with Newsmen on the sideline of event marking his marriage with his wife, Arewa Abimbola in Ikolaje-Idiroko, in Ipokia Local Government area of Ogun State, said God established marriage, especially among the couples of younger generations to be a role models worthy of emulation in all their actions and deeds.
The politician explained that the challenges such as poor leadership and social vices being experienced in the country and across the globe can be traced to family deficiencies, especially broken homes.
He added that once the Godly families are raised and nurtured for God and for the society, the problems will be a thing of the past soon.
According to him, several stakeholders including the religious and community leaders must ensure unity of the family while the government at all levels must rise against any act capable of causing separation among the couples by providing an enabling environment and social welfare for the society.
“Godly family must take the rightful positions and play key roles in the society and this will guide their conduct and lifestyles, especially to the younger generations which are the heritage of God” the politician stated.
“the current misunderstanding ongoing among the couples, leading to the rising cases of divorce and single parenting in the society, poses great dangers to the entire country and the globe at large” he added.
“I wants to appeal to the stakeholders, especially our religious and community leaders to prevail over the current situation which is worrisome, alarming and disturbing while the government must also address lack of welfare provision which is fuelling the crisis in many homes, for the good of our society at large” the Agosasa born politician concluded.
Abioro, however, thanked his late parents, Late Hodonu and Mrs Sarah Abioro, his in-laws, Pastor Victor and Mrs Abigail Hunge, family members and well-wishers, assuring that both families will sustain the bond that existed between them.
