Mr. Odusoga noted that, he want to leave the local government better than he met it and as such every hands must be on deck to achieve that. He pleaded for those truncy officers to have a rethink as his administration will leave no stone unturned in the effort towards improving the standard he met on ground. While he stressed that there will be zero tolerance for absenteeism without due permission, lateness to work, and every other acts capacity of given the local government bad light under his watch as he frowned at the attitude of some staff who don't come to work at all, yet drew salaries at the end of the month.
The Number One Civil Servant in the Council area appreciated the *Executive Chairman, Hon. Odunnoiki Adetoye AbduGaniyu* for his fatherly roles and the way he has been relating to some staff matters brought before him since inception and advised that if someone is taking their issues seriously like that, what that means is that, *"to whom much is given, much is expected."* So, every members of staff must be up to the task for the government to achieve huge success at the end. He urged the staff to rally round and support the new elected Chairman, Hon. Odunnoiki AbduGaniyu and his team to ensure seamless administration after all.
Therefore, he also used the medium to disseminate information from the Commission concerning the screening exercise coming up on Monday 9th December, 2024 at the Secretariat while he warned that whoever not partakes in the screening exercise should consider him/herself out of the service because, it's going to be yardstick to know the total number of staff across the 20 Local Governments of Ogun State.
He then added that he's going to work headlong to make sure that the staff Welfare are not going to be toyed with and that he's happy that that was the same spirit the Chairman has as he too said it in many meetings they held but, bent on those that don't work wouldn't eat because that is what the scriptures says.
Speaking earlier, the {NULGE} Branch Chairman, Comrade Adefowora Abayomi appreciated the Holga and other management staff for their resilience and steadfastness over the actions and inactions of the staff over the years and he promised that the staff will turn a new leaf while warning them to count themselves lucky over the privileges given by the management by inviting them to a meeting before striking which they should not take for granted.
Comrade Adefowora reiterated that the Holga has listening ears and that he is very approachable while affirming that for the shortest period of time that he resumed here he had been able to record one or two feats to his credit as an administrator.
