The duo, accompanied by Hon. Saburi Adebayo, demonstrated their solidarity with Tella’s re-election campaign and the All Progressives Congress (APC) by presenting campaign caps, posters and Maruwa-branded stickers.
Speaking during the occasion, Baba Maruwa described Tella as a grassroots-oriented politician who understands the aspirations of the people and represents the interests of residents across different social and economic backgrounds.
He pledged his support for the lawmaker’s re-election bid, promising to mobilise grassroots supporters for Tella and other APC candidates ahead of the forthcoming elections.
Baba Maruwa added that his commitment to the campaign was informed by his confidence in Tella’s representation and his desire to see the APC candidates receive support from the grassroots.
Similarly, Olakiye Olusesan Samuel described Tella as a political leader whose integrity, commitment and personal conduct, according to him, offer qualities worthy of emulation by other political leaders.
Olakiye expressed confidence in the lawmaker’s ability to sustain effective representation and initiatives aimed at addressing the needs of constituents across Abeokuta North State Constituency.
He also pledged to support Tella’s re-election campaign and contribute to efforts to mobilise support for other APC candidates in the forthcoming elections.
Responding, Tella expressed appreciation to Baba Maruwa, Olakiye and Hon. Saburi Adebayo for their show of solidarity and the confidence they had demonstrated in his leadership.
The lawmaker assured constituents that he would continue to prioritise effective representation, quality legislation and sustainable grassroots development if re-elected.
He reaffirmed his commitment to using his legislative mandate to promote the interests and welfare of the people, while pledging to remain accessible, accountable and responsive to their needs.
Tella further assured the people of Abeokuta North that he would continue to discharge his responsibilities diligently, stressing that their trust and expectations would remain central to his legislative engagements.
