The lawmaker stated this while speaking on the turnout of supporters from Abeokuta North, saying the people had demonstrated their continued confidence in the APC administration and its candidates.
According to him, the administration of President Tinubu had, over the past three and a half years, taken steps to put the Nigerian economy back on the right track, with the next phase focused on ensuring that the impact of government policies reaches ordinary Nigerians.
He appreciated the people of Abeokuta North for supporting the party and its candidates in the 2023 elections, expressing optimism that they would repeat the gesture in 2027.
“First of all, I appreciate and thank them for putting us into government in 2023. And with this crowd, we are sure that they are going to repeat it again, that they are going to return all of us—all five who are running for elections in 2027,” he said.
The lawmaker, who is seeking re-election, assured his constituents that he would continue to deliver the dividends of democracy and provide effective representation for them at the National Assembly.
He further promised that the voice and interests of the people of Abeokuta North would continue to receive strong representation at the Green Chamber, urging them to maintain their support ahead of the 2027 elections.
