Biographies are templates for the future, Ogun DG

Ogun State Deputy Governor, Engr Noimot Salako-Oyedele has emphasized the importance of documenting personal stories, as biographies saying it provides valuable lessons for generations born and unborn 

She made this known during the official book launch of the Biography of Alhaji Muneer Bankole, CEO and Managing Director of Medview Airlines titled "Pathways, Pilgrimage and Destiny", held at The Providence Hotel, Ikeja GRA , Lagos. 

According to Engr Noimot Salako-Oyedele, the Biography stresses the importance of building legacies that will succeed you such as what Alh Bankole has done in the Aviation industry including key regulatory changes and economic impacts informing that the Airline played a key role by pioneering Private Pilgrim packages in Lagos. 

The Deputy Governor described Alhaji Bankole as an astute Business, a multi-tasker, a contributor to Community development armed with strong resilience at ensuring no stone is left unturned at achieving success, used the opportunity to call on well meaning individuals to support local businesses through their teething pains 

While disclosing that he was a close ally of her husband's and family who has remained supportive over the years, she prayed Allah to bless him with continued wellness and well-being. 

The Chairman of the occasion, the Alara of Ilara, HRM, Oba Olufolarin Olukayode Ogunsanwo, in his remarks, described Alhaji Bankole as a quintessential Nigerian, an entrepreneur, a man of faith, a disciplinarian and an Aviation Icon, whose contributions to the nation's Aviation industry remains indelible, urging those present to donate generously during the launching of the book.

Also speaking the Author of book, Mr Prof. Mobolanle Sotunsa, said the book reveals most of the qualifies about him, saying the journey of writing which spanned four years, chronicled a life worthy of emulation with footprints and pathways for future generations.

The book reviewer, a Professor of Strategy and Development, Prof. Anthony Kila, said the book was a collection of gratitude to God and his crew as it tells how to mix religion, character and determination together, explained that pilgrimage and travels are two different things, tells how the biographee treats success, presents wealth as a growth in stewardship and how Alhaji Bankole became a product of an eco system that was shaped by it environment, affection and love.
