Ambassador Ibrahim disclosed this during an interview with journalists in Abeokuta on Friday where he reiterated the commitment of the support group to mobilising grassroots support for the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidates across the state.
According to him, Senator Adeola possesses the leadership qualities, experience, and vision required to move Ogun State to greater heights, describing him as a tested leader, proven performer, and “a governor in waiting.”
He noted that the senator has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership capacity through numerous interventions in critical sectors such as education, healthcare, youth empowerment, infrastructure development, and community-based projects across Ogun State.
“Senator YAYI has touched lives across the state through impactful projects and people-oriented programmes. His record of service speaks for itself, and that is why many Ogun residents believe he is the right person to lead the state in 2027,” Ibrahim said.
The Zee 1 for YAYI founder further commended Alhaja Kudirat Adegunwa-Balogun, describing her as an accomplished professional and successful entrepreneur whose wealth of experience would complement Senator Adeola’s leadership credentials.
He expressed confidence that the YAYI-Kudirat ticket represents a formidable team capable of delivering purposeful governance, economic growth, and sustainable development for the people of Ogun State.
Amb. Ibrahim stated that the growing support for the APC governorship ticket across the state was a reflection of the confidence many residents have in Senator Adeola’s capacity to build on existing achievements and drive inclusive development.
He also disclosed that the Zee 1 for YAYI Support Group has commenced consultations and grassroots engagements across various communities, aimed at sensitising citizens on the vision and programmes of the APC candidates ahead of the election.
“We are prepared to mobilise, educate and engage citizens from ward to ward and community to community in support of the APC and the collective vision for a prosperous Ogun State. Our commitment is to ensure that the people understand the benefits of supporting leaders with proven records of service and performance,” Ibrahim stated.
