The Ogun State Youth in Community Development Committee has honoured Amb. Barr. Habeeb Whyte with the Award of Zonal Ambassador in recognition of his outstanding contributions to community growth and youth development.
The award, presented on Thursday celebrates Whyte’s dedication to grassroots initiatives, his consistent support for youth-focused programmes, and his efforts in fostering unity within the community through his leadership of the Sabo Stayte Association.
Speaking during the presentation, the organizer of the award said the honour was a reflection of the positive impact Whyte has made across the Abeokuta North zone.
“This award is a symbol of our appreciation for a leader whose commitment to youth empowerment and community progress has remained unwavering. Amb. Barr. Habeeb Whyte has shown that true leadership is rooted in service,” the committee stated.
Due to his absence, the award was received on his behalf by his Personal Assistant, Ibrahim Suleiman Dogo, who conveyed his principal’s gratitude to the organisers.
“On behalf of Amb. Barr. Habeeb Whyte, I sincerely thank the Ogun State Youth in Community Development Committee for this honour.
“He is deeply grateful and remains committed to supporting initiatives that uplift our youths and strengthen our communities,” Dogo said.
