Rev. Olusola Salau Commends Tope Akintunde Over Successful Yayi Progressive Movement Inauguration

Rev. Olusola Salau, Director of Ogo Titun for PBAT and a key figure in the Prince Dapo Abiodun and Yayi 2027 Movement, has congratulated the event planner and organiser of the Yayi Progressive Movement, Armstrong Tope Akintunde, on the successful inauguration of the group.

Speaking after the event, Rev. Salau also called on Senator Olamilekan Adeola (Yayi) to recognise him as a major stakeholder who has been actively working towards the realization of the Yayi 2027 governorship ambition.

Rev. Salau, who has been mobilising thousands of supporters across Ogun State for the presidential ambition of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the senatorial ambition of Prince Dapo Abiodun, and the governorship ambition of Senator Adeola in 2027, described Armstrong Tope Akintunde as a committed and effective mobiliser. He noted that a large crowd turned out for the inauguration held at Ake Palace on Sunday, May 3rd.

He further described Armstrong as a key stakeholder in the All Progressives Congress (APC), whose contributions to supporting Senator Adeola’s political journey are significant and will remain part of Ogun State’s political history.

Rev. Salau also revealed that despite attempts by some opposition elements to frustrate the event by preventing certain stakeholders from attending, the inauguration was a success. He attributed this to divine support, noting that the weather was favourable and attendees expressed satisfaction at being part of the occasion.

He expressed appreciation to Armstrong Tope Akintunde for involving him in the programme and pledged his continued support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Dapo Abiodun, and Senator Olamilekan Adeola.
