Speaking during his declaration on Tuesday, Jiboku expressed gratitude to residents and supporters, describing his aspiration as a call to meaningful service rather than mere politics.
“Today, I stand before you with deep gratitude and a strong sense of purpose as I declare my aspiration to represent Abeokuta South Constituency II in the Ogun State House of Assembly. This step reflects my commitment to serve our people with integrity, dedication, and genuine passion.”
The aspirant noted that his decision followed extensive engagement with residents across communities, adding that their resilience and determination inspired him to seek public office.
According to him, effective representation must translate into real improvements in people’s daily lives.
“Our constituency is filled with hardworking individuals, talented youths, committed traders, and wise elders, yet we continue to face challenges such as unemployment, limited opportunities, and inadequate infrastructure.True representation is not just about occupying a position but about being a strong voice for the people.”
He outlined education, youth empowerment, and support for women and small businesses as the pillars of his agenda, stressing that young people must be equipped with skills and opportunities to succeed.
“Every child deserves quality education, and every young person deserves the chance to succeed through skills development, innovation, and entrepreneurship. I am equally committed to empowering women and supporting traders and artisans who sustain our local economy.”
Jiboku also pledged to advocate for improved infrastructure, better healthcare access, and sustainable community development through collaboration with stakeholders.
He emphasized that transparency and accountability would guide his leadership if elected.
