The meeting, which formed part of Soyoola’s consultations across local governments in the Ogun Central Senatorial District, was chaired by former Speaker of the Ogun State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Titi Oseni.
Speaking during the meeting, Hon. Oseni commended Soyoola for his courage and commitment to the progress of the APC in the state.
She also acknowledged his consistent support for party activities and encouraged him to remain steadfast in his consultations with party stakeholders across the district.
The former Speaker advised the aspirant to continue reaching out to key leaders and strategic stakeholders as he pursues his senatorial ambition, stressing that engagement with the grassroots remains very important in building strong political support for himself.
In their separate remarks, the APC apex leaders present at the meeting urged Dr. Soyoola not to relent in his aspiration, noting that his consultation efforts show he is on the right path.
They, however, advised him to remain committed to his promises and maintain strong relationships with party leaders if he eventually succeeds in the race.
Also speaking, an APC apex leader in Abeokuta North Alhaji Ayinde Onifade Gomez described Soyoola as a humble politician and a man known for keeping his word.
He appealed to party leaders in the local government to support and endorse the aspirant’s ambition.
Among those present at the meeting were the Ogun State Commissioner for Rural Development, Hon. Ilori Oduntan, member of the Ogun State House of Assembly representing Abeokuta South Constituency II, Hon. Wasiu Igbalaye , as well as Gboyega Ajayi, Bolade Odetayo, Chief Amodemaja, Chief Majekodunmi and other party stakeholders.
Soyoola was accompanied to the meeting by several supporters and associates, including Alhaji OnifadeAyinde Gomez, Director-General of his political structure Sabur Adebayo, Prince Waheed Adeosun, and former Abeokuta North Youth Leader Moruf Akinsola, among others.
