The congratulatory message was conveyed by Alhaji Umar Mohammad, the erstwhile Senior Special Assistant on Non-Indigenes to former Osun State Governor, Adegboyega Oyetola, who also serves as the Coordinator of the Arewa Community within the APC in Osun State.
In a statement issued on behalf of the Arewa Community, Mohammad described Adereti’s emergence as a well-deserved recognition of his years of dedication, loyalty, and unwavering commitment to the progress of the party and the development of Osun State.
According to him, the decision of the party to select Adereti as the deputy governorship candidate reflects confidence in his capacity to contribute meaningfully to the success of the APC in the forthcoming election.
“On behalf of the Arewa Community in Osun State, I warmly congratulate Hon. Benjamin Kayode Adereti on his emergence as the APC Deputy Governorship candidate ahead of the August 15 election,” Mohammad said.
“This well-deserved recognition is a testament to his dedication, loyalty, and unwavering commitment to the growth of our great party and the development of our dear state,” he added.
Mohammad further assured that the Arewa Community in the state would continue to support the APC and mobilize voters to ensure the party records a resounding victory at the polls.
