Ramadan: Abeokuta North APC Chairman, Alhaja Faidat Sarumi Akintunde Felicitates Muslim Faithful

The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abeokuta North Local Government, Alhaja Faidat Sarumi Akintunde, has extended warm greetings to Muslim faithful on the commencement of the holy month of Ramadan, urging them to embrace the spiritual significance of the season.

Alhaja Akintunde described Ramadan as a sacred period of reflection, sacrifice, and renewed devotion to Almighty Allah, noting that the month offers Muslims an opportunity to strengthen their faith and deepen their commitment to righteous living.

She called on adherents of Islam to use the fasting period to pray for peace, unity, and progress in Abeokuta North Local Government, Ogun State, and Nigeria as a whole.

 According to her, sustained prayers and collective efforts remain vital to overcoming the nation’s challenges.

The APC chairman also encouraged residents to show love and compassion to the less privileged, stressing that Ramadan teaches generosity, tolerance, and empathy. 

She urged well-meaning individuals to extend support to vulnerable members of society during and beyond the fasting period.

Alhaja Faidat reaffirmed her commitment to grassroots development and inclusive leadership, assuring constituents that the party remains dedicated to policies and initiatives that will improve the welfare of the people at the local level.

She appealed to political stakeholders and community leaders to promote peaceful coexistence, reminding them that unity and mutual respect are essential for sustainable growth and harmonious living.

While wishing Muslim faithful a rewarding and spiritually fulfilling Ramadan, Alhaja Faidat Sarumi Akintunde prayed that Allah accepts their supplications and grants the community lasting peace, prosperity, and abundant blessings.
