The outreach, which was held at the Local government Secretariat on Wednesday saw beneficiaries receive financial support as part of Hon. Kabir’s commitment to grassroots development and people-focused leadership.
The initiative was warmly received by community members who described it as timely and impactful.
Speaking during the programme, Hon. Hassan Olawale Kabir said the gesture was his way of giving back to the people who have consistently supported him and his leadership over the years.
He expressed profound appreciation for their loyalty, cooperation and unwavering encouragement whenever the need arose.
He reaffirmed his total commitment to the All Progressives Congress (APC), urging residents to remain united and steadfast under the party.
According to him, unity and collective support are key to sustaining development at the grassroots level.
Hon. Kabir also called on the people to continue to support the Governor of Ogun State, His Excellency, Prince Dr. Dapo Abiodun,whom he praised for his developmental strides across the state.
He equally commended the Chairman of Abeokuta North Local Government, Hon. Dr. Lanre Oyegbola Sodipo, describing him as a God-sent and Omoluabi leader dedicated to sustainable grassroots development.
The Supervisor further appealed to residents to continue to pray for him and the present administration, expressing optimism that Abeokuta North Local Government would continue to grow and maintain its status as a leading local government in Nigeria and beyond.
Speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries, one of the Mrs Serifatu Adewusi offered heartfelt prayers for Hon. Hassan Olawale Kabir, asking God to continue to guide, protect and uplift him in all his endeavours.
She noted that his generosity did not come as a surprise, recalling his consistent commitment to the welfare of the people.
She added that Hon. Kabir had demonstrated people-oriented leadership since his tenure as supervisor , noting that his passion for service has remained unwavering.
