In a move to strengthen governance and enhance service delivery at the grassroots level, the Chairman of Abeokuta North Local Government, Dr Lanre Oyegbola-Sodipo has approved the appointment of twenty Two (22) Special Assistants and one (1) Senior Special Assistant.
This was disclosed on Thursday in a statement signed by the Head of Media and communication of the local government Kayode Ajibola .
The statement reads “ The appointments, according to the Chairman, are part of efforts to drive the administration’s development agenda, improve community engagement, and promote inclusive governance across all sectors and traditional blocs in the local government.
“These appointments reflect our commitment to give every segment of Abeokuta North a voice in governance,” Dr Sodipo stated. “We have carefully selected individuals with track records of service, capacity, and loyalty to the development of our local government and our party, The All Progressives Congress (APC)
“The appointees will be tasked with supporting specific portfolios such as education, legislative affairs, student relations, public communication, innovation, and community liaison roles within the Oke-Ona, Owu, Gbagura, and Oke Ogun zones.

8. Ogunyemi Oladipupo – Special Assistant, Student Relations
9. Waliat Kareem – Special Assistant

11. Yetunde Adedoyin Adetokunbo – Special Assistant, New Projects
12. Olonade Mahmud Olayemi – Senior Special Assistant, ICT and Innovation
