A new destination for relaxation, beauty, and wellness has officially launched in the heart of Abeokuta, as the House of Ebony Spa and Lounge opened its doors to the public with a grand ceremony on Saturday.
The luxurious facility offers a wide range of premium services, including body massage, nail extensions, facial treatments, body scrubs, pedicures, manicures, tattoo artistry, permanent eyebrow treatment, unisex salon services, and adult wellness products. The spa also features unique head and scalp spa treatments, catering to both men and women.
In her opening remarks, the Chief Executive Officer, Mrs. Oloyede, expressed her enthusiasm for establishing the spa in Abeokuta, citing the city’s rich cultural heritage and warm, accommodating community as key reasons for the choice of location.
“We’re passionate about promoting self-care for everyone—both male and female,” she said. “We have introduced an Ebony Membership loyalty program, and customers can also purchase gift vouchers for their loved ones.”
Highlighting the spa’s inclusive and family-friendly vision, Mrs. Oloyede added, “Wellness is for all. We even have special birthday treatments for children, so they can create beautiful memories and feel truly special on their big day.”
The opening ceremony drew dignitaries and well-wishers from across the state.
The Honourable Commissioner for Women Affairs, Hon. Adijat Adeleye, lauded the initiative, commending Mrs. Oloyede for her entrepreneurial spirit and acknowledging Governor Dapo Abiodun’s administration for fostering a business-friendly environment in Ogun State.
Other notable attendees included Princess Ronke Ogunremi, a member of the Governor’s Advisory Council; veteran Nollywood actor Yomi Fash-Lanso; Otunba Akin Lewis and several other distinguished guests.
