Daramola Dynasty Foundation Sponsors 27th Annual Sports Day for Blind

...Reaffirms Commitment To Foster Inclusive Communities Through Sport

The 27th Annual Sports Day for the Blind took place on May 15, 2025, at the Yaba College of Technology Sports Centre, offering a powerful celebration of resilience, talent, and inclusive sportsmanship.

Organized by the Federal Nigeria Society for the Blind (FNSB) and proudly sponsored by the Daramola Dynasty Foundation, this year’s event radiated energy, hope, and unity under the inspiring theme: “Champions of Inclusion.”

The event brought together vibrant participants, enthusiastic spectators, and tireless advocates for disability inclusion. From the spirited March Past and fierce Tug of War to thrilling Track Races, each activity was a testament to the athleticism and determination of the FNSB athletes, breaking stereotypes and reinforcing the message that ability transcends disability.

A standout moment was the friendly football match featuring young talents from the Daramola Football Academy, who traveled from Isara Remo, Ogun State, to participate. Their exciting performance, which ended in a thrilling draw, was met with loud cheers, showing that talent knows no limits and inclusion enriches us all.

Founder of the Daramola Dynasty Foundation, Engr. Olanrewaju Daramola, graced the occasion emphasizing the Foundation’s unwavering commitment to fostering inclusive communities through sports, mentorship, and opportunity.

“This goes beyond the sporting activities,” Engr. Daramola remarked. “It’s about community, visibility, and the power of believing in every individual’s potential.”

As always, the Daramola Dynasty Foundation remains committed to its mission, championing inclusion, encouraging participation, and inspiring progress beyond physical limitations.
