To reinforce the Ogun State Government’s dedication to the comprehensive development of the livestock sector, promote peaceful coexistence, and enhance food and human security, the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Inter-Ethnic Affairs, Hon. Hadi Sani, met with the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Livestock Development, Mr. Idris Ajimobi, in Abuja.
The discussion centered on policy formulation and implementation strategies to advance livestock development in Ogun State.
Both officials explored key initiatives aimed at promoting sustainable livestock farming, fostering inter-ethnic harmony, and strengthening food security.
As part of the discussions, a date was scheduled for a working visit to Ogun State, where Mr. Idris Ajimobi and his team will engage with His Excellency, Governor Dapo Abiodun, and key stakeholders in the livestock sector.
The visit is expected to further strengthen collaborative efforts between the state and federal governments in ensuring a well-structured and inclusive livestock development agenda.
Hon. Hadi Sani emphasized that Ogun State remains committed to creating an enabling environment for livestock farmers while fostering harmony among all ethnic groups in the state.
