The Local Government boss paid a courtesy visit to the schools to ascertain the completion levels of the blocks of classrooms and the readiness to kick start the running of the academic activities of the schools.
In his words, Amb. Ogunsola commended the determination and dedication of the proprietor, Lord's Way Model School, $iun for collaborating the efforts of government in making education accessible for everyone, inspite of the landmass of the council area.
Earlier, Prophet Godwin Ojerinde, The Founder of Lord's Way Model School explained that the initiative of founding the schools originated from his 35 years of staying abroad, coupled with his calling as a prophet of God, who has been mandated to impacts positively in the lives of people, as an educationist who believes impacting knowledge is a great legacy one could invest on.
He stressed that the School is built with 24 Classrooms, 6 toilets with Boarding facilities, Sports Field, Close Circuit Television Camerals ( CCTV) and well fenced to maintain the security of lives and properties.
He further expressed his appreciation to Obafemi Owode Local Government in particular for supporting his vision and given the necessary backings in securing the approval for the registration and onward buildings of the infrastructure which is almost ready for the absorption of pupils, as he has recruited the crop of professional teachers whose major in teaching according to the standard of the state.
He therefore enjoined the public to bring their children for enrollment into the school by the time they commence admission.
" I want to bring to the notice of the public that we are set to uplift the standard of education, coupled with my 35 years experience living in England and we are going to run a tuition fee that is affordable for every parents, in reality to the economic status of our country Nigeria" said Prophet Ojerinde.
The chairman further inspected other ongoing projects such as:-
--Re -Construction of local government secretariat road, Ogidan, Owode-Egba, while people in Mowe and Ibafo axis should be expecting Re- Construction of some of their roads soon. --Rehabilitation and Re-Construction of Legislative Chamber, planning department and community development department block at the local government secretariat, Owode Egba.
Political Functionaries in the entourage of the Executive Chairman includes, Hon. Kayode Dipeolu, Secretary to Local Government, Hon. Saheed Ariyibi, Leader of the Legislative Council,Head of LG Administration,HOLGA Ms Olufunke Adeniji,Hon. Adio Saula Supervisor for Special Duties, Mr. Idowu Makinde, Special Assistant to the Chairman on Protocol, Comrade Oluwaseyi victor kabir, NULGE Chairman.
