Ademola claimed he invested over N400 million in the project and needs the public’s backing to recoup his investment and make a profit.
In an interview, Ademola expressed confidence in the movie’s quality, stating that fans will enjoy it.
However, he also added a humorous caveat, saying that those who didn’t enjoy the first “Ori” movie shouldn’t bother watching the sequel.
He said: “I have spent millions, like over N400 million, investing in my new movie. You will love it and enjoy it. I need to make back my money. I need to make money, I need profit. If you watched the first Ori and didn’t enjoy it, don’t watch this one”.
Ademola’s colleague, Femi Adebayo, also revealed how he sold his properties to fund his multi-billion naira movie project, “Jagun Jagun,” rather than seeking financial assistance from institutions or individuals.
