Ogun APC Councillorship Candidate, Akomolafe Pledges Transparency, Accountability, Fair Representation

 The All Progressives Congress (APC) councillorship candidate for Ward 8 in Abeokuta North Local Government Hon. Waheed Akomolafe has pledged to represent his Constituency fairly, prioritizing transparency, accountability, and unity within the community.

In a recent meeting on Thursday with ward leaders, booth Chairmen and ward executives the  councillorship candidate assured the people of Ward  eight of his commitment to inclusive governance, urging residents to see him not as a councillor for a select few, but as a representative for everyone in the ward.

 “I want to take this moment to assure each and every one of you that I will represent you effectively.

“Don’t see me as the councillor of some people, but as the councillor of Ward 8. You are all my people, and I assured you that I won’t disappoint you.”
The councillorship candidate acknowledged the importance of feedback, encouraging constituents to hold him accountable. 

“If you see me doing what’s wrong, call me and correct me,” he urged, emphasizing that his campaign is focused on “work and chop,” where both the leaders and the community benefit from developmental efforts.

To support the campaign, the ward leaders, including the ward executive  and booth chairmen, donated five bags of rice and caps  for the campaign signaling their collective backing. 

Ward eight Chairman, Alhaji Taofeek Agbogunleri popularly known as (Onile) who is also the Director General campaign committee for the ward called the ward executives and booth chairmen to mobilize residents in areas like Lafenwa, Afonta, and Gaa to encourage the communities to support APC in the upcoming local government and councillorship elections.
The Leaders rallied behind the councillorship candidate, reinforcing their commitment to ensure victory for APC in ward eight. 

Meanwhile , the ward Chairman mobilizing committee Alhaji Wasiu Olabode popularly known as (S. Ola) promised to work assiduously to ensure residents come out in large numbers to vote for the party and it's candidates, promising that with everyone’s cooperation, ward eight will achieve positive change and progress.
