The Council boss charged the Councillors⁰ representing 12 Wards in the Council Area to uphold the integrity of the mandate entrusted in them by the good people of their respective wards, as the common goal is to develop Obafemi Owode Local Government through providing equitable service delivery for all at the grassroots.
He encouraged the legislators to note that with their present positions, they should be responsive to the yearnings and aspirations of the people in the council area.
" Let me advise that it will make you more responsive and accountable to the Leaders and the people, to create an office in your ward where you will engage your people on the delivery of yarnings of the grassroots people by making the electorates to have access to you", said Council boss.
He further stressed to remain resolute in translating his Vision and Mission of Responsibility to the people towards achieving new Obafemi Owode Local Government.
He therefore solicits for the support and Cooperation of all the Transitional Rulers, Community Leaders, Religious, Stakeholders and the good people of the Council Area, as enchained in the mantra of Ogun State Governor, Building our future together is a collective responsibility, as in a team we shall address our priority areas which we have identified to improve the lots of our people towards this new administration that all of us, our children and future generation would be proud of.
The Honourable Councillors consist of, Hon. Sodeinde Nurudeen Adio, Mokoloki Ward1, Hon. Comrade Olanrewaju Olasunkanmi, Ofada Ward 2, Hon. Ajayi Adekunle Abdul Lateef, Owode Ward 3, Hon. Durodola Sadiat, Ajura Ward 4, Hon. Oloyede Akeem, Moloko Asipa Ward 5, Hon. Saheed Ariyibi, Oba Ward 7, Hon. Oludele Olusegun Kayode, Egbeda Ward 8, Hon. Micheal Akingbade, Kajola Ward 9, Hon. Soetan Sabiu Oluwambe, Obafemi Ward 10, Hon. Abiodun Olusanjo, Ajebo Ward 11 and Hon. Ogunronbi Sunday Femi, Alapako Oni Ward 12.
