There was a heavy gridlock at Ago-Oko road in Abeokuta on Wednesday as supporters of the People's Democratic Party (PDP), trooped en masse to Ago Oko Junction for the final lap of the chairmanship candidate, Hon. Adewusi Ambali's campaign.

They trooped out en masse to support Adewusi's victory in the November 16th local government election.

Speaking with the masses Adewusi encouraged the electorate to go out en masse and vote for PDP on Election Day, noting that the ongoing threat by the ruling party APC to create fear in the heart of the electorate to prevent them from participating in Saturday's local government poll.

Adewusi condemned the Ogun state governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun over the statement by saying that "opposition parties are on holiday", describing it as a frivolous statement by a supposed governor of a state.

He posited that the ruling party APC is aware of its failure to deliver promises made to Nigerians, using the threat to play on people's intelligence and prevent them from carrying out their civic responsibility on Saturday.

Adewusi urged the to electorate not fear any intimidation on the election day, appealing to them to vote for PDP.

While speaking in his palace, the Olowu of Owu Oba Saka Matemilola urged the candidate to fulfill promises made to people if elected.

He affirmed that it is true that there is hardship in the town.

He advised to prevent any form of violence in the process of the election.
