In a statement released by his media office on Tuesday, Fajimi commended the harmonious coexistence among adherents of all religions in Abeokuta.
He praised the existing harmony and urged residents to continue to co-exist through communal love, selflessness, patriotism, and nationalism.
Fajimi congratulated traditional religion worshippers on the occasion of Isese Day, a celebration of their faith and culture.
He urged them to celebrate with decorum and avoid acts capable of threatening the existing peace in Abeokuta.
Fajimi emphasized the importance of unity and peace in achieving progress and development in the local government.
He called on residents not to allow primitive sentiments to divide them, but to work together for the common good.
The Chairmanship aspirant reiterated his commitment to promote unity and peace in Abeokuta North Local Government if elected.
