CHAIRMANSHIP ASPIRANT, OLUMUYIWA FAJIMI, MOURNS LAFENWA ACCIDENT VICTIMS

The Chairmanship Aspirant for Abeokuta North Local Government Hon. Olumuyiwa Fajimi has expressed his deepest condolences to the families of the four victims who lost their lives in the tragic accident at Enu Gada Lanfenwa, Abeokuta, Ogun State, on Thursday.

The Chairmanship Aspirant disclosed this during an interview with newsmen  on Friday.

Recall that the  accident, which occurred around 9 p.m. at the Enu-Gada area of Lafenwa, in Abeokuta North Local Government, involved a Mack truck with registration number: (Lagos) AAA 86 XX, which rammed over a Honda CRV car marked: (Lagos) EKY 857 GU and two other commercial motorcycles with registration numbers: (Ogun) DE 968 VC and (Ogun) AAB 387 VP, respectively.

Hon. Muyiwa described the incident as heartbreaking and urged the authorities to take concrete measures to prevent such accidents from occurring in the future.

"My heart goes out to the families of those who lost their lives in this tragic accident," Fajimi said. "I pray that God grants them the strength to bear this irreparable loss."

He also called for the enforcement of traffic laws and regulations, as well as adequate training for drivers, to ensure road safety.

"We must take concrete steps to ensure that our roads are safe for all users.

"This includes enforcing traffic laws and regulations, as well as providing adequate training for drivers."
