Ogun Waterside Council Supervisor Distributes Thousands of Writing Materials to Primary Schools

In a heartwarming gesture, Hon. Adekoya Taiwo Michael, Supervisor for Water Supply and Environmental Sanitation in Ogun Waterside Local Government, Abigi, has distributed thousands of writing materials to primary school pupils across the council area.

The distribution, which took place across the ten wards of the local government, aimed to support the education of the young ones and alleviate the burden of parents in providing educational materials.

Hon. Adekoya, also known as Taribo West, emphasized the importance of education as the best legacy for future leaders. 
He expressed his gratitude to God for making the vision a reality and hinted at more programs in the pipeline to benefit the grassroots.

The Executive Secretary of Ogun Waterside Local Government Education Authority (LGEA), Mr. Nurudeen Onaniyi, received the materials on behalf of the government and commended Hon. Adekoya's effort.

 He appealed to more philanthropists to support the students, especially during the current economic challenges.

Hon. Ogunji Olugbenga, Supervisor for Information, Education, and Sports, also thanked Hon. Adekoya for his kindness and prayed for God's blessings upon him. He noted that the pupils would cherish the memory of this occasion.

The distribution was witnessed by headmasters, teachers, and the information crew, among others.
