Community Leaders Praises AmbOgunsola for Road Rehabilitation Efforts in Obafemi Owode LG



Ambassador Ogunsola Adesina Lanre,the Executive Chairman of Obafemi Owode Local Government, has embarked on a significant initiative to grade roads within the area, in conjunction with ongoing efforts by the Ogun State Government.

 This initiative aims to improve transportation networks for farmers accessing major markets and connecting urban centers.

Under the guidance of Ambassador Ogunsola, represented by his Special Adviser on Road Maintenance, Mr. Noah Aliu, several communities are currently benefitting from road upgrades. 

These include Kajola, Itori Oke, Itori Isale, Saare, Akogun, Eriti, Ijeja, Ajade, Olubiyi, Oke- Egan, Oke Ogbun, Igbore, Asero, Jaguna villages in Oba Ward 07, as well as Moloko Asipa in Ward 6 and Alafia Community in Kobape, including Church Street off Jake Road in Kobape.

The Chairman reassures communities awaiting attention that grading operations will extend to them soon.

 He emphasizes the importance of residents' support through tax payments to further enhance developmental projects across the region.

In response, community leaders such as Mr. Yekini Yusuf, CDA Chairman of Alafia Community, Kobape, and Hon. Idowu Fasanya Adele Oba of Kobape, Moloko Asipa Ward, express gratitude for the initiative, highlighting its historical significance for the community.

Pastor Oriyomi Adisa from Oba Ward also praises the timely intervention of both state and local governments, particularly noting its crucial assistance to farmers in transporting produce to markets, thereby easing economic strains."
