While speaking to newsmen on Friday, Ambassador Ibrahim described the initiative as a practical demonstration of Senator Adeola’s commitment to improving the livelihoods of traders and strengthening the local economy.
He noted that the intervention would improve traders’ access to capital and stimulate grassroots economic growth across Ogun State’s three senatorial districts.
Speaking on the empowerment programme, Ambassador Ibrahim said the cash grants would provide much-needed financial relief to small-scale business owners struggling with limited capital.
He added that the initiative would enable beneficiaries to expand their businesses, increase their earnings and create additional employment opportunities within their communities.
“Senator Adeola has once again shown that he is a leader who understands the economic realities facing ordinary Nigerians. This cash grant is not just financial support; it is an investment in the future of thousands of hardworking traders across Ogun State,” Ibrahim said.
According to him, supporting market women and men remains one of the most effective ways to boost commerce, reduce poverty and improve household incomes.
Ibrahim urged the beneficiaries to make judicious use of the funds by investing them in their businesses to ensure sustainable growth.
“I encourage every beneficiary to utilize this opportunity wisely. With proper management, this support can transform small businesses into thriving enterprises that will benefit families and communities alike,” he said.
The Zee 1 for Yayi founder also reaffirmed his group’s support for Senator Adeola, describing him as a visionary leader whose empowerment initiatives continue to impact lives across Ogun State.
