The inauguration which was held on Wednesday in Abeokuta brought together leaders and members of the Arewa community from across the state, also witnessed the constitution of executive committees in the 20 local government areas of Ogun State.
At the event, the senior special assistant to the ogun state governor on inter-ethnic affairs Hadi Sani officially emerged as the state coordinator of the group, which is operating under the banner of “Arewa 4 YAYI.”
Speaking shortly after the inauguration, Hadi Sani expressed appreciation to members of the organisation for the confidence reposed in him, pledging to work with other executives across the state to ensure the success of the assignment.
He described the initiative as a strategic move aimed at strengthening grassroots mobilisation and ensuring that the APC records overwhelming victories across the state.
According to him, the newly established campaign structure will engage residents through extensive consultations and community interactions in order to deepen support for the party and its candidates.
“The mandate is clear. We have been assigned the responsibility of mobilising massive support for President Bola Tinubu , Senator Olamilekan Adeola and Governor Dapo Abiodun and all APC candidates across Ogun State through an effective door-to-door campaign strategy.
“We are fully committed to this responsibility. We will move from one community to another, sensitising the people and promoting the programmes and achievements of our leaders. Our goal is to ensure victory for all APC candidates,”he said.
