The group said the colourful reception reflected the deep affection the people of Kemta and the larger Egba community have for the senator, whose maternal roots trace back to the ancient town.
Founder of the group, Ambassador Azeez Ayomikun Ibrahim, made the remarks while reacting to the successful homecoming ceremony, noting that the event was more than a political gathering but a celebration of ancestry and belonging.
According to Ibrahim, the elaborate homecoming was carefully organised to celebrate Senator Adeola’s ancestral ties to the community through his late mother and to reaffirm his place among the sons of Kemta.
He stated that the reception demonstrated the enduring values of the Egba people, who honour family heritage and embrace their own regardless of where they have lived or served.
“The homecoming of Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola was a remarkable moment in the history of Kemta and Egbaland. It was a celebration of heritage, identity and the unbreakable bond between a son and his ancestral home,” Ibrahim said.
He added that the overwhelming turnout of traditional rulers, community leaders, political stakeholders, market women, youths and residents underscored the widespread acceptance enjoyed by the senator.
“The people came out not because they were compelled, but because they genuinely identify with Senator Adeola and appreciate his long-standing contributions to humanity and national development,” he said.
Ibrahim noted that the event also served as an opportunity to strengthen the relationship between Senator Adeola and the people of Egba, while fostering unity ahead of future developmental engagements.
According to him, the warm reception accorded the senator confirmed that his maternal lineage remains a source of pride for the people of Kemta and that the community has fully embraced him as one of its distinguished sons.
He commended the traditional institution for its role in preserving the customs and values that continue to unite the people across generations.
“The blessings and goodwill extended to Senator Adeola by our revered traditional rulers are symbolic of the confidence the people have in his leadership qualities and his commitment to public service,” Ibrahim stated.
The Zee 1 for YAYI founder further described the event as a cultural homecoming that transcended politics and showcased the rich heritage of the Egba people.
He said the display of culture, music, traditional attire and royal blessings created an atmosphere that will remain memorable in the history of the community.
Amb. Ibrahim maintained that Senator Adeola has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership through various developmental initiatives, empowerment programmes and quality representation over the years.
He expressed optimism that the goodwill generated during the homecoming would further strengthen the senator’s relationship with the people and inspire greater collaboration for the progress of Ogun State.

He reaffirmed the commitment of Zee 1 for YAYI to continue mobilising grassroots support for Senator Adeola, describing him as a leader with the experience, compassion and vision to deliver greater development.
