The endorsement was led by the APC leader in Oke-Ogun and Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Broadcast Media, Prince Ifekayode Akinbode. It was contained in a communiqué jointly signed by over 45 influential stakeholders representing all four wards in the community.
The leaders praised Tinubu’s bold reforms and visionary leadership, expressing confidence that his continued presidency would deepen Nigeria’s development and improve the welfare of citizens. They also reaffirmed their support for Yayi, describing him as a seasoned grassroots politician with the experience, capacity, and network to lead Ogun State effectively.
Most importantly, the leaders unanimously endorsed Hon. Babatunde Tella for a second term, citing his impactful representation in the Ogun State House of Assembly, his accessibility, and his dedication to constituency development. They expressed their belief that Tella’s continued service would bring further progress to Oke-Ogun.
Prince Akinbode commended Tella’s visible strides in grassroots engagement and his consistent delivery of democratic dividends. He emphasized that the lawmaker has earned the trust and support of the people and deserves a second term to build on his achievements.
The stakeholders resolved to mobilize grassroots support across all wards to ensure victory for all APC candidates in 2027, while maintaining the unity and political strength of Oke-Ogun.
The meeting ended with a firm commitment to party unity and a shared determination to deliver resounding victories for Tinubu, Yayi, Tella, and other APC candidates across the state.
