39th Lisabi Festival : Dimofeshy Multi-Investment CEO Felicitates Alake of Egbaland

The Chief Executive Officer of Dimofeshy Multi-Investment Nigeria Limited, Alhaji Odewole Oladimeji Monsuru, has congratulated the Alake and Paramount Ruler of Egbaland, His Royal Majesty, Oba Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo, CFR, on the successful commencement of the 39th Lisabi Festival.

This was disclosed in a statement released on Saturday.

Alhaji Monsuru described the annual festival as a "monumental pillar of Egba identity," noting that the event continues to serve as a vital link between the glorious past of the Egba people and their aspirations for a prosperous future. 

He commended the monarch for his steadfast commitment to preserving the cultural heritage of the kingdom.

“The Lisabi Festival is more than just a celebration; it is a homecoming and a solemn reminder of the bravery of our forebears.Under the wise and fatherly guidance of Alake, this festival has grown in stature, attracting global attention and fostering an unparalleled sense of unity among the Egba sons and daughters, both at home and in the diaspora."

The CEO noted that the festival provides a unique platform for cultural diplomacy and local economic stimulation, as thousands of visitors descend upon the ancient city of Abeokuta.

"On behalf of the board and management of Dimofeshy Multi-Investment, I salute the Alake for being the custodian of our collective history. His reign has been characterized by peace, intellectual growth, and physical development across the length and breadth of Egbaland."

Speaking on the impact of the festival, Alhaji Monsuru stated the role of the legendary Lisabi Agbongbo-Akala, the hero of the Egba liberation struggle. 

He urged the youth to emulate Lisabi’s spirit of selflessness and community service, which he believes is essential for nation-building.

Alhaji Monsuru also used the medium to reiterate the commitment of Dimofeshy Multi-Investment to supporting local traditions. 

He noted that corporate organizations have a responsibility to partner with traditional institutions to ensure that the "fabric of our society remains strong and untainted by the pressures of globalization."

Alhaji Monsuru prayed for the continued good health and long life of Oba Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo. 

He expressed his hope that the 39th Lisabi Festival would usher in a season of divine favor, bountiful harvests, and renewed industrial vigor for all Egba indigenes and residents of Ogun State.
