In a statement made available to newsmen in Abeokuta on Monday, Tambo Cuba described Alhaja Sarumi’s re-election as a well-deserved victory, noting that her emergence for a second term reflects the confidence and trust party members repose in her leadership.
He commended the party faithful in Abeokuta North for conducting themselves peacefully during the congress, adding that the smooth exercise further demonstrated the unity and internal democracy within the APC at the grassroots level.
According to him, “Alhaja Faidat Sarumi has shown capacity, resilience, and uncommon dedication to the growth of our great party in Abeokuta North.
“Her re-election is not only a personal achievement but a collective victory for all loyal party members who believe in progress and continuity.”
Tambo Cuba expressed optimism that the chairman would use her second term in office to further strengthen party structures, reconcile aggrieved members, and mobilize greater support for the APC ahead of future political engagements in the state.
He also urged party leaders and stakeholders to continue supporting her administration, stressing that unity remains the bedrock of sustainable political success.
“This is the time to close ranks, deepen collaboration, and work together to deliver more dividends of democracy to our people,” he added.
While wishing Alhaja Sarumi a successful tenure, the business mogul reaffirmed his commitment to supporting initiatives that promote development, stability, and the overall progress of Abeokuta North Local Government.
