In her congratulatory message issued to newsmen on Wednesday, Alhaja Faidat described the Alake as a symbol of unity and an embodiment of wisdom whose reign has ushered in sustained peace, cultural preservation, and steady development across Egbaland.
She noted that the past two decades have been remarkable under the revered monarch’s leadership.
The APC Chairman commended Oba Gbadebo for his unwavering commitment to the progress of the Egba people, acknowledging that his royal interventions and fatherly counsel have contributed immensely to political stability and socio-economic growth within Ogun State.
“Alake’s reign has been characterized by a deep sense of responsibility, fairness, and dedication to the welfare of all, irrespective of social or political affiliation. The monarch’s inclusive leadership style continues to inspire both the young and old”.
She noted that under Oba Gbadebo’s two decades on the throne, Egbaland has witnessed strengthened traditional institutions and improved community relations, fostering an environment where peace and progress thrive.
Alhaja Faidat Sarumi Akintunde prayed for continuous divine wisdom, good health, and longevity for the Alake, so that he will continue to steer the affairs of Egbaland with the same grace and distinction that have defined his 20-year reign.
