The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abeokuta North Local Government, Alhaja Faidat Sarumi Akintunde, has called on Nigerians to remain steadfast and proactive in their pursuit for success as the nation enters the year 2025.
In her New Year statement issued to newsmen on Wednesday, Alhaja Sarumi Akintunde urged citizens to remain hopeful about Nigeria’s future, emphasizing that collective resilience and unity are essential for overcoming challenges.
She expressed her gratitude to the people of Abeokuta North for their unwavering support for the APC and their commitment to the development of the local government.
“As we step into 2025, I encourage all Nigerians, particularly residents of Abeokuta North, to reawaken their hope and be optimistic about the future. Together, we can surmount the challenges before us and create a better Nigeria for all,” she said.
Alhaja Sarumi Akintunde acknowledged the economic and social challenges faced by many Nigerians in the past year but reassured them that the APC-led government remains committed to implement policies that will bring relief and improve the standard of living.
She called for patience and cooperation as the government continues to work on transformative projects.
The Chairman emphasized the importance of unity and cooperation among Nigerians, noting that these values are critical to achieve sustainable development.
“Our strength as a nation lies in our diversity and unity. Let us continue to live in peace, embrace one another, and support our leaders in their efforts to make Nigeria great again,” she said.
