Arewa Abimbola Senami, the Wife of Chieftain of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Honourable Damilare Abioro, has asked Nigerians to seek the face of God over the current situation in the country.
According to her, the religious communities, especially the Christians to continue praying to God to turn the misfortune of the country into greatness.
Abimbola, who in the company of Abioro made the call while speaking at a gathering to mark her birthday anniversary, said the current challenges facing Nigeria will soon be over.
She likened the hardship situation in the country to the experience of the biblical children of the Israelites who faced similar challenges but were later delivered by God.
According to her, Nigerians should cry to their creator instead of complaining or murmuring over the situation which is getting worse almost every day.
‘Nigerians must not allow the situation to bring them down because the country will rise again only if everyone can rise and seek the face of God’ she advised.
‘we need to make a lot of sacrifice and commitment in prayers and other patriotic acts for this country to come out of its current precarious situation’ Arewa said.
" Christian congregations at a time they are holding their annual Convention, should pray to God Almighty who has everything in control to turn around the situation of our beloved Country for there is no other place we can call our home” Abimbola admonished.
“God has given us total authority to determine what we want for ourselves and our Jerusalem called Nigeria and He will always grant our request count in his due season” she added.
Arewa Abimbola, however called on Nigerian Leaders to shun evil acts such as corruption among others in order to bring back the lost glory of Nigeria for the prosperity of the people, especially the poor masses.
